The Drop: OpenDot One

  • Fit

    🪶 10 out of 10

⬛ All Day Fit for real. I prefer the style of pinch fit vs. Bose Ultra Open.

⬛ Touch controls on barrel are my prefered. I just disabled the controls on the arc.

⬛ Interchangeable earbuds work just fine.

  • Form

    🔊 9 out of 10 [Open Ear]

⬛ Clarity and Bass are top level for Open Ear capabilities. Shokz knows what they are doing.

⬛ With the speaker sitting closer inside the ear you can block out the world if you want; which is ironic since the purpose of open ear is the opposite BUT you do not need to crank the volume.

  • Function

⬛ Someone who wants to spend $200.00 on Open Ear headphones.

⬛ IP54 Water Resistant. Don’t swim with them on.

⬛If you need to be aware of your surroundings at home or in the office.

⬛ You can workout with them but would not be my go to.

A small black leather pouch with a flap and button closure, attached to a tan leather strap with a black button, lying on a reddish-brown surface.
Wireless black earbuds inside an open charging case on a red textured surface.
Wireless black earbuds placed on a textured reddish-brown surface.
  • 10 hours play time with 30 additional hours from case. You can wear a single earbud so all day wear is possible.

Small pocket sized case is nice and compact.

  • I genuinely prefer this pinch style versus the Bose Ultra.

    The weight is stupid light.

I have had no ear fatigue wearing for over 7 hours straight.

  • Included is a carry pouch that seems like it was made for the dollar store. Miss; but it really has nothing to do with the earbuds so no big deal.

  • Just shut up and take my money.

Used primarily around the house/ office and going to the grocery store.

Not my go to for dynamic movements; stays on but still does not feel good shaking around a bit.
